Loki brings in a fresh new way of dealing with Magento 2 extensions: Based upon Loki Components, these extensions offer a huge performance boost, are easily customizable and allow you to build slick shops. Together with you, we push Magento back on top.
The Loki Checkout is based on Loki Components, a free open-source solution. Thanks to Loki Components (and numerous other utilities), Magento developers are able to get the maximum amount of work done with the lowest effort.
We guarantee performance, WCAG compliance, CSP compliance, tests and more. And with that tough part done, you can finally enjoy building checkouts that perform.
The initial start of the Loki Theme for Luma is quite simple: Bluntly remove all scripts and see what is broken. After this, things are fixed: Sometimes with CSS/HTML-only solutions. Sometimes by adding plain JavaScript components or Alpine.js components.
This solution has allowed us to gain excitingly fast performance of the Loki Checkout under Luma - faster than the competition (even though this might surprise you). Pages like static pages and the CMS pages are easily fixed as well. For product pages and category pages, more work is required. Because of that, this is work in progress. However, by gradually upgrading pages, you can already benefit from this.
The same Loki technology that is used in the frontend by the Loki Checkout and Loki Theme is also applicable in the backend. Even better, we have created Loki Admin Components that allow you to create admin grids and forms based on your own provider (repository, collection, array class) with just 20 lines of XML layout code (or less). Wait, what?
Since 2011, Yireo has helped out agencies, developers and merchants build great shops: Ranging from dozens of free Magento extensions on GitHub to custom training, from consultancy to developer events like MageTestFest, Reacticon and MageUnconference NL.
Loki is not new. It is a reboot to help us all to new levels. With a new fresh company and new employees entering soon, we are ready to take up things another level.
